Indigo Expat Junior, your international medical insurance policy
Indigo Expat Junior is an international medical insurance policy dedicated to young expatriates. Ie aged from 18 to 30 years old. The plan covers the following benefits: hospitalisation, out-patient, vision, dental. Also, assistance repatriation and personal liability are included in the pack. Last, eligible expatriates are (1) european citizens residing abroad and (2) non-european citizens residing in a Member State of the EU.
This international medical insurance policy is available on a 1st € basis. Also on Top Up to CFE, if you are eligible. Then, you can adjust your choice according to your needs. Finally, if your stay length less than 12 months, subscribe to Start Expat.

International medical insurance policy – 2 zones of cover
First of all, 2 zones of cover are available. The country of expatriation defines a zone of cover. But, you can decide to upgrade it to be covered in your home country, for example. To conclude, Indigo Expat Junior proposes zones of cover 1 & 2:
- Zone 2 : Albania, Angola, Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Gibraltar, Georgia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mozambique, Nigeria, New-Zealand, Oman, Panama, Peru, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Vatican + countries of zone 1,
- Zone 1 : Worldwide excluding countries listed in Zone 2.
Excluded countries
These countries of expatriation are excluded: Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Brazil, China, Faroe (islands), Hong-Kong, Lebanon, Morocco, Polynesia, Russia, Saint Barthelemy, St Martin, Saint Pierre et Miquelon, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, United Kingdom, Venezuela, Wallis and Futuna.

Outside zone of coverage
Outside the subscribed zone of cover, members are covered during 7 weeks in case of accident or unforeseen illness.

Furthermore, Indigo Expat Junior is insured by Vyv Group. Vyv Group is the second largest medical insurance company in Europe. Finally, the administration is managed by ExpaTPA.
Indigo Expat Junior and CFE
First, keep in mond that Indigo Expat is a partner of La Caisse des Français de l’Etranger. Also, expatriates will have to submit their claims first to CFE. Then, ExpaTPA recieves information from CFE to intervene on Top Up. The existing agreement between CFE and ExpaTPA eases the administration of claims for expatriates.
In case of hospitalization, ExpaTPA manages direct payment for Indigo Expat Junior and CFE. Therefore, it is simple for expatriates and available 24/7.
